Trapped inside a shifting dungeon, your only way out is through your wits. Each level generates a brand-new maze — no two runs are ever the same. Hunt for glowing puzzle panels hidden in the corridors, solve three types of escape-room challenges, and collect the key fragment before making a dash for the glowing cyan portal.
Your trusty torch lights only a short radius around you — the rest of the dungeon lies in shadow until you explore it. A mini-map in the corner charts your progress, revealing cells you've visited while keeping the unseen passages dark. Five levels, each larger and more challenging than the last, stand between you and freedom.
How to Play 3D Maze Escape
- Click the game to lock the cursor — WASD or Arrow Keys to move, mouse to look around
- Approach a glowing orange puzzle panel until the 'Press E' prompt appears, then press E (or tap the E button on mobile)
- Solve the escape-room puzzle to earn a key fragment — there's a clue note nearby for each puzzle
- Once you hold all key fragments, walk into the glowing cyan exit portal to complete the level
- On mobile: use the left-side joystick to move and drag the right side of the screen to look
- If you run out of time, press Try Again — the maze regenerates fresh each attempt

Is the maze the same every time?
No — the maze is procedurally generated using a recursive backtracker algorithm, so every run is unique.
How many puzzle types are there?
Three: a Color Code panel (press buttons in the order shown on a nearby note), a Switch Puzzle (flip switches to match a diagram), and Symbol Memory (repeat a flashing sequence).
Does it work on mobile?
Yes — on touch devices a virtual joystick appears on the left and you can drag the right side of the screen to look around. An E button lets you interact with puzzles.
How do I find the exit?
The exit portal emits a cyan glow visible from a distance. Check the mini-map — the portal is always at the far corner of the maze from your starting position.
What happens if time runs out?
The level fails and you can retry. The timer resets and a fresh maze is generated for that level.
