About 3D Bubble Shooter

3D Bubble Shooter takes the classic match-3 puzzle mechanic and rebuilds it with genuine three-dimensional visuals. Instead of flat cartoon circles, you're looking at a real grid of shiny spheres — each one catching the deep-space lighting with a specular white highlight that shifts as your aim moves. The hex grid curves gently away from you in perspective, so back rows look farther away and rows near the bottom loom larger. It feels like peering into a vivid display case of glowing orbs rather than staring at a flat screen.

Aim with your mouse and click (or press Space) to shoot. Your bubble travels upward, bouncing off the side walls until it snaps into the grid. Match 3 or more same-color spheres and they burst in an 8-particle explosion in that bubble's color — pop 5 or more in a single shot for a combo bonus. Any bubbles left hanging without a ceiling connection fall free with gravity and spin away. Every 8 shots a new row drops from the top, ratcheting up the pressure and adding colors as your level climbs.

The game saves your best score in your browser so your record carries across sessions. Level up by crossing each 500-point threshold — the number of distinct colors in play increases with your level, turning a manageable 3-color grid into a 6-color challenge that demands precision and trick wall-bounces to clear efficiently. How high can you go before the bubbles reach the danger zone?

How to Play 3D Bubble Shooter

  1. Move your mouse left or right to aim the cannon at the bottom of the screen. The barrel rotates and ghost dots show the predicted trajectory, including wall bounces.
  2. Click the screen (or press Space) to fire your current bubble. It travels at the shown angle, bouncing off the left and right walls until it hits the grid.
  3. Match 3 or more touching bubbles of the same color to pop them. They explode in a colorful particle burst and any now-disconnected bubbles fall free, earning bonus chain points.
  4. Use wall bounces deliberately — a shot that hits the left wall first can reach bubbles tucked in the upper-right corner of the grid. The ghost dots show the bounced path.
  5. Every 8 shots a new row drops from the top and the pressure increases. Watch the shot countdown bar above the cannon. Clear rows quickly to keep the grid from reaching the danger line.
  6. Your score and personal best are saved automatically. Level up every 500 points — higher levels add more bubble colors, making matches harder to set up but combos more rewarding.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I aim precisely?

Move your mouse left or right — the cannon barrel and five ghost dots track your aim in real time. The dots show exactly where the bubble will travel, including any wall bounce. For tight shots, aim at the edge of the screen and let the wall redirect the bubble into a cluster you can't reach directly.

How does scoring work?

Each popped bubble scores 100 points. Pop 5 or more in a single match for a 2× multiplier — so 5 bubbles score 1000 instead of 500. Bubbles that fall free after a pop also add to your score (50 each). Level up every 500 points; levels increase the number of colors in the grid, making the game harder but combos bigger.

What triggers a new row?

Every 8 shots fired (not every 8 hits — bounces and pops all count toward the same counter) a new row slides in from the top and all existing rows shift down. The thin progress bar above the cannon shows how many shots remain until the next row. Pop large clusters to keep the grid clear.

Is my high score saved?

Yes — your best score is saved to your browser's localStorage under the key 'bubbleHighScore'. It persists across sessions and appears in the HUD next to your current score. It resets only if you clear your browser's site data for this page.

Can I play on mobile?

Yes — slide your finger across the bottom of the screen to aim the cannon and tap to fire. The ghost trajectory updates in real time as you move. Works well on both phones and tablets.
