Gameszest (gameszest.com) is a free browser-game platform operated by Ashes Roy, an independent developer based in India. We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable laws.

2. What Data We Collect

2a. Data you provide

• Contact form — name, email address, and message content when you use our contact page. This data is processed only to respond to your enquiry.

2b. Data collected automatically

• Essential cookies — we store your cookie consent preference in localStorage so we do not ask again on return visits. No personal data is stored here.
• Game progress — some games store high scores or settings in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.
• Advertising cookies (Google AdSense) — this site displays ads served by Google AdSense. When ads are shown, Google may set advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads relevant to your interests based on your browsing history across sites. If you decline cookies in the banner, only non-personalised ads are shown and interest-based cookies are not set. See Google's advertising privacy policy for details.
• Server logs — our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may collect standard access logs (IP address, browser type, page requested) for security and performance purposes. We do not use these logs for profiling or marketing.

Contact form emails are retained only as long as necessary to resolve your enquiry and are then deleted. We do not maintain a separate database of contact submissions.

7. Third-Party Services

Gameszest is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process request metadata (IP addresses, browser type) as part of their network and security services. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

We do not embed social media trackers, analytics scripts, or third-party services beyond those listed in this policy.

8. Advertising

This site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense uses cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites across the internet.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to Gameszest and other sites on the internet. This is known as interest-based advertising or personalised advertising.
