About 3D Temple Dash

3D Temple Dash is a Temple Run–style endless runner set deep in ancient jungle ruins. You play as an explorer fleeing through a crumbling stone temple, dodging obstacles and collecting gems while something terrifying pursues you from behind.

Switch between three lanes to avoid stone pillars, arch barriers with a single gap, and fire traps on the left or right sides of the path. Leap over gaps with a well-timed jump, or slide under low-hanging root tangles. The longer you survive, the faster the temple path becomes — and the closer the glowing-eyed creature behind you appears.

Collect emeralds, rubies, and gold relics scattered along the path to boost your score. Three lives stand between you and the leaderboard. The cinematic chase camera follows directly behind your explorer, making every lane switch feel urgent and every close call genuinely tense.

How to Play 3D Temple Dash

  1. Press ← / → (or A / D) to switch between the three lanes. On mobile, swipe left or right.
  2. Press Space or ↑ to jump over pillars and gaps. Press ↓ or S to slide under root tangles.
  3. Dodge stone pillars by switching lanes. Spot fire traps (orange glow) and avoid that side.
  4. For stone arch barriers with a single gap, quickly switch to the open lane.
  5. Collect glowing gems for bonus score — each gem is worth 25 points on top of your distance.
  6. You have 3 lives. After each hit you're briefly invincible. Losing all 3 ends the run.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I slide under root obstacles?

Press ↓ (down arrow), S, or swipe down on mobile. The slide lasts 0.7 seconds and reduces your hitbox height — just long enough to pass under root tangles.

The creature behind me — can it actually catch me?

The chaser is visual pressure, not a direct game-ender. It closes in when you're down to 1 life to ramp up tension, but only obstacles end your run.

Does the game get faster over time?

Yes. Speed starts at 11 m/s and increases every 8 seconds up to a maximum of 32 m/s. Obstacle density also increases after 300 m and 800 m.

Is my best score saved?

Yes — your personal best is saved in your browser's local storage and displayed on the game-over screen.

Can I play on mobile?

Yes — swipe left or right to switch lanes, swipe up to jump, and swipe down to slide under root obstacles. The game is fully optimised for touchscreens.
